Active Results expansion

OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations) have been working with RM for over a year to deliver a secure reporting and analysis portal for schools and exam centres called Active Results, developed from scoris results, RM's item level data analysis solution.
The Active Results portal allows centres secure access to analyse results in more depth than ever previously possible.
This means that centres can build a better picture of performance, thereby:
- detecting learning needs and capabilities earlier, so teaching methods can be adapted to pupils' needs at an early stage;
- identifying key areas of the curriculum which students are either excelling at, or struggling with;
- taking informed decisions about exam retakes and improving teaching plans.
These strong benefits, together with centre feedback from a pilot in September 2008, have allowed Active Results to expand quickly over the last 12 months.
