The RM Group

Founded in 1973, the RM Group is a leading provider of educational products and services to schools, colleges and universities, assessment organisations, local government and central government education departments and agencies.

RM was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1994 with a structure comprising a holding company (RM plc) and an operating company (Research Machines). The operating company Research Machines changed its name to RM Education plc in January 2007.

RM’s headquarters are on Milton Park, near Abingdon in Oxfordshire. It also has regional offices in Scotland and North Western England as well as a number of group companies across the UK, giving RM a wide, geographical coverage. Internationally, RM has further offices in the USA, the Middle East, India, Australia and New Zealand. It currently employs over 2,700 people worldwide, the majority of which work at the company headquarters on Milton Park.

RM Assessment has over 200 staff at its UK sites in Abingdon, Bath and London.
