Biographies
Graeme Dewart - Managing Director
Graeme has worked for RM for 20 years and has been an RM board director for over 10 years. Graeme is currently the Managing Director of the Assessment & Data Services division of RM, for which he was responsible for setting up in 2003.
Graeme was previously Managing Director of RM Learning, a division within RM that developed and marketed learning software products to schools.
David Haggie - Assessment Services Director
David joined RM in 2003 after working as Head of Strategy for Granada Learning, and then as Business Development Director with Nelson Thornes. Prior to working in the education market he was a senior producer for BBC radio and television.
David is currently Assessment Services Director for RM Assessment and is responsible for RM's development of services to assessment bodies, including the provision of marking, testing and results analysis. He is a key contributor to strategy and business development in the area of assessment and data with focus on the areas of marking processes and systems, formative assessment and onscreen testing.
Gordon Nelson - Operations Director
Gordon has been with RM since 1996 and has gained over 10 years experience of the IT industry within the Education Sector. During this time he has held various roles within the organisation covering product management of RM’s flagship network management tools used in over 30% of UK schools, solution management on several large scale PFI bids and commercial management of RM’s suppliers and strategic partners.
Between 2004 and 2008, Gordon was a Project Director within RM Assessment, managing the delivery of a highly innovative e-testing project for QCA that has a budget of £23M over 5 years and was awarded the 2005 Computing Award for Innovation and an e-Government Award for Excellence. Currently, Gordon is Operations Director within RM Assessment, where he leads a team of 30 project management and service delivery staff and has overall responsibility for the delivery of all projects, programmes and Managed Service contracts.
John Ingram - Technical Services Director
John joined RM as Technical Services Director in April 2010 from Deutsche Telekom, where he managed the Desktop Services division within their T-Systems outsourcing organisation. He previously spent 10 years in a variety of senior IT management roles at Centrica, having started his IT career at Lloyds Bank.
With over 15 years experience in the industry, he has extensive experience of developing, implementing and operating large scale, mission critical IT services for global customers, across diverse sectors including education, telecoms, energy and financial services.
John is responsible for the development and support of RM’s integrated assessment solutions, including the e-marking and e-testing solutions which underpin the product and service offering. He leads a large team based in both the UK and at RM’s wholly-owned subsidiary in India.
Martin Milner - Managing Director (RM Data Solutions)
Martin became MD of RM Data Solutions in April 2007, the data arm of RM's Assessment & Data Services division, with offices in Southwark in London.
Martin’s original career was in Marketing, and from 1996 to 2001 he was MD of what became the largest B2B Brand Communication Agency outside London. He then joined the world’s leading technology-enabled testing company, Thomson Prometric, as Global Marketing Director. In 2004 he became Country Manager (GB) for Thomson Prometric and moved to London to set up the new EMEA HQ.
Martin has a passionate belief in the need for data to be transformed into actionable knowledge, and that dissemination of data to all stakeholders in a secure manner is critical to RM Data Solutions’ future success.
