David Brooks - Managing Director

David has worked for RM Education for over 15 years and has been a company board director for the last 3 years. David is currently the Managing Director of the Assessment & Data Services division of RM.  

David has previously held the positions of Sales and Marketing Director for RM Education’s largest business, Learning Technologies. Before this he was the company's BSF Director and Head of RM Education’s Managed Service business, selling and delivering large ICT managed services to UK local authorities.

David Haggie - Business Development Director

David joined RM Education in 2003 after working as Head of Strategy for Granada Learning, and then as Business Development Director with Nelson Thornes. Prior to working in the education market he was a senior producer for BBC radio and television.

David is currently Business Development Director for RM Assessment and is responsible for the company's development of services to awarding organisations, including the provision of marking, testing and results analysis. He is a key contributor to strategy and business development in the area of assessment and data with focus on the areas of marking processes and systems, formative assessment and on-screen testing. 

Gordon Nelson - Commercial Director

Gordon has been with RM since 1996 and has gained over 14 years’ experience of the IT industry within the Education Sector. During this time he has held various roles within the organisation covering product management of RM’s flagship network management tools, solution management on several large scale PFI bids and commercial management of RM’s suppliers and strategic partners.

Between 2004 and 2008, Gordon was a Project Director within RM Assessment, managing the delivery of a highly innovative e-testing project for QCA that had a budget of £23 million over 5 years and was awarded the 2005 Computing Award for Innovation and an e-Government Award for Excellence. Currently, Gordon is Commercial Director within RM Assessment, where he responsible for the delivery of all customer projects, programmes and Managed Service contracts, including the commercial relationships with our third party suppliers.

John Ingram - Technical Services Director

John joined RM Assessment as Technical Services Director in April 2010 from Deutsche Telekom, where he managed the Desktop Services division within their T-Systems outsourcing organisation. He previously spent 10 years in a variety of senior IT management roles at Centrica, having started his IT career at Lloyds Bank.

With over 15 years experience in the industry, he has extensive experience of developing, implementing and operating large scale, mission critical IT services for global customers, across diverse sectors including education, telecoms, energy and financial services.

John is responsible for the development and support of RM Education’s integrated assessment solutions, including the e-marking and e-testing solutions which underpin the product and service offering. He leads a large team of 80 staff based in both the UK and at RM’s wholly-owned subsidiary in India.
